21. januarja 2020 - 21. januarja 1793 je bil z giljotino na pariškem Trgu revolucije (danes Trg sloge) usmrčen francoski kralj Ludvik XVI. Bil je edini francoski kralj v zgodovini, ki je doživel takšno usodo. Star je bil 38 let. Na francoski prestol je prišel leta 1774 pri le 20. letih.
