- 20. maja leta 1882 so Nemčija, Italija in Avstro-Ogrska ustanovile trojno zvezo. Trojna zveza je bila nadaljevanje t.i. dvojne zveze, ki sta jo tri leta prej sklenini Nemčija in Avstro-Ogrska.
